The greatest commission is to go and make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of The Worship Center is our mission to the world. It begins in our local church and our own community and spreads abroad. The variety of church ministries helps us to be well rounded in fulfilling the commission of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our Ministries
Community Outreach
The Worship Center’s goal is to know how to deal with all walks of life. Our services are directed towards spiritual growth to help individuals become better in their walk with Christ and to create better citizens in this world. Our ministry has taken on a societal approach by establishing community outreach programs in order to help build up our surrounding communities. In this, we have developed a plan to offer clothing and food drives, computer courses, day care facilities, library services, youth recreation centers, family counseling, marriage enrichment, job training and many other services that would allow growth in our ministry.
Family Counseling
We are a faith-based counseling center, we make it our mission to provide individualized Biblical scripture based services tailored to meet the needs of all people. A Christian family counselor is the one who uses Word of God as the basis for their counseling rather than the worldview. Counseling sessions are facilitated by our leaders Pastors Calvin and Mary Blake. We are committed to providing spiritual guidance to individuals, couples, families, children, and individuals who are dealing with a wide range of issues including: trouble with their Christian walk, sickness, death, depression, and relationship issues. The Worship Center offers counseling on all levels, an individualized approach that is designed to meet the specific needs of the person, couple, or family. Our bible-based counseling sessions are aimed towards the individual relationships with God through the only source for true healing which is God.
Men's Ministry
Mighty Men, Arming a Nation with the Word - God has called man to be the head and not the tail. We, as mighty men, believe that empowerment comes from no one but God. God has placed man in position with authority to do end time work, that is spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to reclaim back to God the man he made in his own image. In doing so, we show men that God loves you just as you are and in that love in his word. The nation needs men that not only have a voice, but have a Word from the Lord.
Women's Ministry
WOW - Women of Worth - God made us holy and worthy to bless his name. We are worthy to give him thanks and worthy to praise his holy name. We are worthy to tell of his goodness, in spite of what you see. We are worthy to porcelain that Jesus is our Lord and Savior for he died for all mankind. Our mission is to uplift the name of the Lord in the beauty of holiness. We stand on the promise of God, we live by the word of God. We are Women or Worth standing strong to proclaim that Christ is the answer.
Youth Empowerment
Our vision is to fulfill God’s plan as a young person. We will be holy living examples, by fasting, praying, reading God’s word and keeping effective communication with God. We know that our steps have been ordered by God and if we spread the gospel to everyone it will delight God. Our mission is to please God and encourage young women and men to to stand on God’s word. We will teach the importance of coming up out of sin, being true to God’s word. For we know that it is God that can save and the word tells us that he has begun a good work, he is able to finish that which he has started.
Leadership Development
The Worship Center offers various continued bible-based leadership courses for individuals that are ready to go to the next level in ministry. Each course flows out of our identity with Christ. Courses are based upon the Doctrine of God - Courses will teach the excellency and the knowledge of God. Topics discussed are biblical doctrine, biblical process. A strong emphasis will be placed on how God reveals himself to us, how God wants us to learn and study his word and how the work of salvation enables us to know God. Time is spent exploring how God can affect our everyday life. Other topics discussed are the names and attributes of God, genealogies, doxologies, and books of the bible in accordance with God's plan for man.
Generation Worship
Generation Worship, a young adult ministry derived from The Worship Center, Inc. Generation Worship exists to cultivate a generation fully devoted to worshiping God not just through music, but through every part of life. Rooted in scripture John 23-24, we are committed to raising young adults who live with authenticity, passion and purpose - worshipping in spirit and in truth at school, work, home, within ourselves, in our relationships with others and beyond.
